Future project: ZF Windpower, Pelt

ZF Wind Power (formerly Hansen Transmissions) is a Belgian company that makes gearboxes for wind turbines and other industrial applications. Its head office is located in Lommel. It is part of Germany’s ZF Friedrichshafen. They currently operates six production units with an annual production capacity equivalent to about 16,000 MW of wind turbines. The company produces in Belgium, India, Germany, the United States and China. ZF currently has a global market share of around 25% in wind turbine gearboxes.
