Monica General Hospital was formed in 1997 by the merger of the former Century Clinic in Antwerp and O.L.V. Middelares in Deurne. Both sites were retained: the campus in Antwerp now serves as an appointment hospital and the campus in Deurne as a regional and acute hospital. AZ Monica opened a third campus with the Blancefloer specialist practice on the Left Bank, where patients can go for consultations and examinations by appointment.
Since 2018, AZ Monica has been part of the Helix hospital network. Together with four other Antwerp hospitals, they are committed to high-quality and value-driven care. To make this happen, AZ Monica offers a wide range of medical disciplines and some 1,400 staff and doctors are available to their patients every day.
Winlock will install two sectional fire shutters with a fire resistance of 60 minutes there.
