The story of Lotus Biscoff – The Original Speculoos, begins in 1932 in a small bakery in Lembeke, Belgium. There, using carefully selected natural ingredients, the original recipe was prepared for the first time. Until today, Lotus Bakeries is a family business, still located in Lembeke. And from there, this delicious biscuit conquers the whole world!
For their site in Oostakker, which is responsible for the production of their range of pastries (Frangipanes, Zebras, Madeleines, …) Winlock was asked to install a fire door with a fire resistance of 60 minutes.
